Aragon MotoGP: Miller ‘in a good position’, Ducati ‘more consistent’

Jack Miller aims to showcase similar form at Aragon as he did in 2019 - claimed third position, as opposed to last season’s ‘shocking’ double header.

With a ninth and a DNF as his best results in Aragon last season, Ducati’s Jack Miller is cꦜonfident that this year’s Desmosedici GP21 can help him showcase similar form to that of 2019.

The Australian took third that year beh𓄧ind fellow Ducati rider Andrea Dovizioso and race winner Marc Marquez, but with a much ‘more consistent’ and overall better package in 202✅1, a similar result is certainly possible.

Ducati have gone well at the Spanish circuit in recent seasons - four podiums from the last four races - not in🍬cluding the Teru🦋elGP last year.

Asked if he’s better positioned than last year to fight at the front in Aragon, Miller added: "I’d like to think🔜 so yeah. I think we have a more consistent bike unꦚderneath us this year in terms of performance at each track.

"I think we’re in a good position coming ⛎into this Grand Prix, but we’ll never know until we 𒐪get out there in FP1 tomorrow.

"The weather is definitely a lot warmer than it was when we were here last year. I think it feels more like an Ara♈gon Grand Prix now.

"We were on the podium here in 2019, last year both races were shocking,🎃 and I mean the second one I ended up only making it to turn tw🌳o.

"Hopefully this year we’ll be able to turn it around. There’s six races left and we’re sitting fifth in the championship, but we need to get some𓆏 more points on the board."

Miller comes into the race weekend as the top Ducati finisher from Silverstone after he was able to conserve his rear tyre b💙rilliantly, something that had been a struggle in previous rounds - also the same issue Johann Zarco and Francesco Bagnaia encountered at Silverstone.
