Sergio Perez apologises to wife after ‘bad party’ celebrating F1 Monaco GP win

Sergio Perez has issued a public apology to his wife for his wild celebrations after winning the F1 Monaco Grand Prix.

The Red Bull driver🌳 won his first race of the season in Monte Carlo and has emerged as a threat to the championship that his teammate Max Vers💛tappen holds.

But footage emerging on social media of Perez’s 💃post-race partying has caused him to apologise to his wife.

“I have seen the vid♎eos that have been circulating about me and I take respon𓄧sibility for it,” he posted.

“It was a bad ꦕparty that I didn't know how to control at the height of the person that I am, but it was just that, a very bad party.

“And for those who just💜 want to hurt us, I wish you the best. 

“Thank you all for your love and I apologise to all the people who love me because those videos d𓆉on't represent me, not at all.

Perez and wife Carola ๊Ma🐓rtinez have three children together.

Perez’s dramatic week included being caught on camera 🐠(again) whispering to Red Bull team principal Christian Horner that he had signed a new contract too quickly.

The news was then confirmed that Perez had signed on🍌 with ♏Red Bull for the next two years.

“He’s in this championship just as much as Max is,” Ho🔯rဣner said.

“The differ﷽ence between the two of them is 15 points no🉐w, it’s nothing, so it’s a long way to go in this championship.”

F1 heads 🐻to Baku this weekend - Perez was lasꦐt year’s winner of the Azerbaijan Grand Prix so is eyeing back-to-back success.
