2022 British Superbike Knockhill- Qualifying Results

Bradley Ray will start r🌳ace one at Knockhill from pole🍌 after topping qualifying with a speedy lap of 47.131s
Ray had missed out on a trip straight into Q2. With little track time under h✃🔯is belt having also missed the recent test to undergo an arm pump operation, the championship leader only completed six laps before a crash on Friday.
Undeterred, the Ri🍃ch Energy OMG rider battled against the wind to set his best lap, holding a hu🅰ge margin over his rivals at the time, allowing him to return to the pits for the close of the session.

Friday saw Jason O’Halloran finish top of the second dry session moving to the top of the timesheets in the final minutes to move straight into Q2. the McAMS Yamaha rider remained on top 🤡following FP3 Saturday morning.
Retaining his form and trying to run a differ꧒ent schedule for a clear track ahead, he attacked Ray’s lap with all he had to move to just five thousandths of the pole time.
The front row for the sprint race will reflect the championship standings with Kawasaki's Lee Jackson hoꩵlding on to third as the chequered flag waved.
Danny Buchan, who took his first ever victory at Knockhill and was a double winner at the track last season, improved late on to move into fourth for SYNETIQ BMW𓄧 Motorrad.
Scottish riders struggle on home soil
Rory Skinner made it into Q2 after Friday, finishing the day eighth for Cheshire Mouldings FS-🦩3 Kawasaki. His experience on home soil did not get to play out into an advantage as he slid off at Clark’s just by the Grandstand. His time was good enough for fifth.
Fortunes were even worse for reigning cham🌊pion Tarran Mackenzie. He experienced a spill in the morning and had hobbled away, a lasting effect of his recent injuies but his McAMS Yamaha faced a race against the clock to ready his bike for qualifying.
Trying hard in front of a packed home crowd Q1 saw the #1 plate spin off into the gravel again, both rider and bike barrell rolling around. That left 𒉰the Scot to fall out of the last progr🌜ession place, though his bike would not have been fit for Q2 regardless.
