Andrea Iannone tipped to “continue racing” by Davide Tardozzi, but the door into Ducati is closed

Andrea Iannone’s dream of returning to Ducati’s MotoGP team has been firmly slammed shut by Davide Tardozzi - but he has explained where and how the rider could make a comeback.

A four-year doping ban will expire in December, makin𝐆g Iannone eligible to compete in the 2024 season, and he has been spotted at private testing days in recent months riding both Ducati and Aprilia bikes.

Now aged 33, his route bacꦜk into MotoGP may appear blocked but there is still hope for him.

"A🐷ndrea Iannone? It is clear 🐠that there is no room for him in the official MotoGP team,” team manager Tardozzi told .

"Andrea is trying to show everyone that he is st♔ill very fast. He has always hadไ a great relationship with Ducati.

Iannone popped up alongside the VR46 Academy riders at a training day recently, another reminder of his ongoing proximit♉y to MotoGP.
