Gowland: The scariest moment of my life!
Graeme Gowland has branded his race one accident as the 'scariest moment' of his life after a spectacular accident saw his bi🔯ke vault the barrier and land in the Oulton Park lake.
Gowland was running outside the top ten when he lost the front-end of his Motorpoint/Henderson Yꦆamaha on the run down to Cascades on lap two, the former World Supersport rider coming down hard.
Luckily for him though, he had become sepa🍃rated✱ from his bike, which proceeded to catapult through the gravel trap, scale the barrier and come to rest in the infield lake.

Destroying the♛ bike in the process, Gow💮land, who broke his collarbone at Oulton Park earlier in the year, will nonetheless be back out on track for the final two races.
"I think that was the scariest moment I have eve🌱r had! We had changed the gearing slightly for the race and I arrived at the top of the hill a bit too quick and the front tyre let go. All the run off area definitely saved me from injury but the bike took it all. The guys have worked all night to rebuild my bike and I 🌸can't thank the enough"
