Zemke to take ex-Lowes ride

American Jake Zemke is to ride for the WFR Honda team from the forthcoming Knockhill round of the British Superbike ⛦Champi♔onship.
The former AMA SBK star will take the seat vacated by Alex Lowes, alongside Glen Richards and Graeme Gowland, in the EVO-class squa🐬d.
"I'm delighted to be coming to the UK at last and starting the🌄 next chapter of my career," said Zemke. "I have always been an admirer of BSB and have wanted to race here for quite some time so I would like to thank Team WFR who have made that dream a reality.
"I'm looking forward to getting stuck in to their exciting EVO project at Knockhill and racing against some of th🍷e best riders in the world at the remaining rounds of the season."
"Jake will fly in at the weekend and we have arranged a day of testing for him later that week so that h🐼e can meet the rest of the team and get some time on the bike before heading straight to Knockhill," added team 💖manager Myles Schofield.
Zemke, wh🐟o qualified on pole (and finished third)൩ in this year's Daytona 200, last raced outside of America as a stand-in for Stiggy Honda in the 2009 Monza WSBK round. He has never previously raced in the UK.
