John Laverty undergoes surgery

John Laverty 🔥has undergone surgery on his shoulders following a vicious accident during first free practice at Oulton Park, the Buꦗildbase BMW rider suffering a series of injuries.
Laverty crashedꦯ on the start-finish straight towards the end of FP1, a high-speed accident that prompted the red flags before he was taken to Countess of Chester Hospital.
From there, Laverty was diagnosed with a myriad of injuries, including broken ankles and a pelvis fract🌞ure, while his dislocated shoulders also necessitated surgery.
"John sustained two dislocated shoulders which were treated at the circuit medical centre and he had a further operation in hospital last night stabilising his other injuries whꩵich included two broken ankles, fractured right knee and a stable fractu☂re of the pelvis," revealed BSB Chief Medical Officer Dr. Heike Romer. "He also sustained broken ribs which will not require any further treatment."
Laverty has had a d🌄ifficult season since the Buildbase team's decision to switch from Kawasaki to BMW machinery, the Ulsterman down in 24th overall with just six points.
