The RAF Regular & Reserves Kawasaki rider notched up a lap record 47.158s on the recently resurfaced Scot🧸tish circuit to claim pole position at the track he 🐻secured his maiden Bennetts British Superbike race wins 12 months ago.
Dixon’s effort edged out McAMS Yamaha’s Brꦆookes by just 0.098s while BSB championship leader Leon Haslam completed the front row൲ on the JG Speedfit Kawasaki.
Glenn Irwin, who initially held the Knockhill lap record after FP3, will head up the front ⛎of the second row for Be Wiser Ducati ahead of Friday’s fastest rider Danny Buchan on the FS-3 Racing Kawasaki with less than three-tenths of the second splitting the top five.
Michael Laverty completes row two for Tyco BMW in front of Buildbase Suzuki’s Bradley Ray and with Christian Iddon (Tyco BMW) and Dan Linfoot (Honda) completing💎 the third row.
