Tyco BMW has parted ways wit💯h Glenn I💯rwin following Round 10 of the 2019 Bennetts British Superbike Championship after only four rounds together.

Irwin, who finished third overall in 2018 with Be Wis🌄er Ducati, began the 2019 BSB season heading up Quattro Plant JG Speedfit Kawasaki title defence but a series of lacklustre results on the Kawasaki ZX-10RR led to the two parties splitting ahead of Round 7.

Irwin duly emerged at Tyco BMW as the intended replacement for an injured Keith Farmer, but having matched Christian Iddon on the BMW S1000RR and secured his best 🔯results of the ꦫseason the relationship has come to an end with two events to go.

“TAS Racing would like to thank Glenn Irwin for his input over the past four rounds with the Tyco BMW British Superbike team,” read a st♍atement from the team.

“Following discussion, both parties have mutually agreed to terminate the curren✃t agreement with immediate effect. TAS 💛Racing wish Glenn every success with his future plans.”

It's 🌞been a difficult season for Tyco BMW over♊all, which has been hampered by a series of crashes and injuries from a BMW S1000RR that is still under development.

Ev🍬en so, with Peter Hickman and Smiths Racing 🌃making the Title Showdown at the behest of the 'factory' team for a third year in succession and Tyco yet to score a podium in 2019, it marks another tough outcome for one of BSB's biggest outfits.

No replacement for Irw🌼in has been announced yet with two rounds remaining at Donington Park and Brands Hatch
