Luke Hopk🌸ins will take part in his second BSB season in 2022 after agreeing to a new one-yea෴r deal with the Black Onyx Security Honda Team. 

The British rider made the step-up to British Superbikꦇe in 2021 aft🧜er winning in Superstock classes at club racing level. 

The S☂ittingbourne-based rider scored just two points throughout the season which came during his debut weekend at Oulto🌠n Park.

With Hopkins remaining on Honda machinery, it means six Fireblade’s will be on the 2022 grid after Honda Racing UK announced a four-rider line-up of Glenn Irwin, Takumi Takahash𝓀i, Ry꧑o Mizuno and Tom Neave, while TAG Honda Racing will be led by Luke Mossey. 

Hopkins added: "When the opportunity to r🌠ace in BSB came up it was too good to miss. It’s every rider’s dream to compete at the highest level, and BSB is one of the most prestigious superbike championships in the world.

"Competing at this level really pushes you on and I improved my personal best times ♔at every track we visite🍸d this year. 

"Me and my dad have💟 learned a huge amount about the bike and electron🎃ics this season and we hope to use that knowledge and experience to be even more competitive in 2022."

Meanwhile, in British Supersport reigning champion Jack Kennedy has mo♒ved to the Mar-Tr🌼ain Yamaha team as he looks to win a fourth Supersport title in 2022.

"I want to make it four championships now. I want to retain my 🍰title and joining Mar-Train gives me the best possible opportunity of doing that,” said Kennedy. 

"No one🌃 gets tired of winning. I never get complace✨nt and I am always trying to improve, otherwise your rivals will get the upper hand when you least expect it."
