BTCC: Proctor joins BMR for 2019 BTCC campaign
Senna Proctor will return to𒊎 the BMR Racing fold for the 2019 British To🔯uring Car Championship after being announced as the first driver for the Subaru team ahead of the upcoming season.
Proctor competed in the Ginetta Junior Championship, as well as the Renault Clio Cup UK series under th꧂e BMR Academy during the 2015 and '16 seasons before graduating into the BTCC with Power M🍸axed Racing in 2017.
The 20-year old finished 12th in last year's BTCC drivers' standings after taking his first victory d𓃲uring the opening weekend of the season at Brands H🐬atch.

“I am very excited to be returning to BMR Racing for 2019,” said Proctor. “When the call came in everything seemed to fit perfectly and it was an easy decision to make. Having raced under the BMR banner in 2015 and 2016, I🤡 felt the timing was right," said Proctor.
“I would like to thank everyone at BMR for putting their faith in me. I can’t wait♕ to get out testing and sample the Subaru Levorg – I think rear-wheel drive will really suit my style.
“After two successful years in the BTCC, I have found my feet and I am ready for the next st🎉ep. My aim this year is to win races and to be in with a shot of the title come the last round of the season.”
Subaru will also continue its partnership with BMR Racing for a fou𓂃rth successive season, while Adrian Flux st💛ay on as the Subaru outfit's title sponsor for the 2019 campaign.
Subaru UK Managing Director, Paul Tunnicliffe says adding to Ash Sutton's 2017 driv💙ers' title with a manufacturers' crown is high on the agenda this season.
“There’s much more to come from our involvement🐎 in the BTCC. Delighted though we were with Ash Sutton’s epic Drivers’ title in 2017, we feel the superiority of the Subaru Levorg really deserves victory in the Manufacturers’ champi🐎onship," said Tunnicliffe.
“Senna’s signing is the first step towards achiev𝔉ing this goal. He is a fitting driver to represent Subaru&nb꧋sp;in this prestigious championship, and we expect to see him challenging for the top honours from the get-go. We can’t wait for Brands Hatch in April!”
