HWA undergoes management reshuffle

Ulrich Fritz has joined HWA Mercedes' board of directors💙 as the DTM giants undergo a managemꦑent reshuffle ahead of the 2014 season.

Fritz, who has been part of the Mercedes family for over a decade, will ♔mainly oversee the team's commercial operations and management structure as of December 1st.

The 36-year old has operated within a number of🦄 roles during his time at Mercedes, most re🌄cently coordinating the Stuttgart manufacturer's AMG SLS GT customer programme, providing teams up to 68-championship contending and winning machines globally.

Mercedes motorsport boss Toto Wolff believes Fritz's appointment to the HWA squad will be invaluable as the multiple DTM champions look to g🌟et back on track following a difficult 2013 campaign.

"Ulrich Fritz will be a huge asset to HWA AG and will beef up the team tremendously with his long years of 🧸experience and his success in the AMG customer sports programme," said Wolff.

"I firmly believe that with ಞreg🌞ard to their DTM programme, HWA and Mercedes-Benz are now in an excellent position to meet the challenges ahead.

"I must say, I am already looking forward immensely to the new 2014 DTM season in view of recent dev🍎elopments."

Fritz says he is now looking forward ღto the challenges his new job title will bring after successfully heading the AMG GT customer programmeꦺ.

"I have really enjoyed developing the customer sports program💜me at Mercedes-AMG GmbH," said Fritz.

"Weꦇ have had huge success with the SLS AMG GT3, particularly this season. I now look forward to the new tasks and challenges that await ꦇme at HWA AG and to working with Gerhard Ungar.

"I am very pleased that I will be participating in the future success of the AMG brand at ಞHWA."
