George Russell will combine his maiden foray into F2 with ART Grand Prix aloꦍngside sharing a test and reserve driver role for Merc♈edes with former F1 driver Pascal Wehrlein.

The Briton enjoyed a strong pre-season test with ART, but like Norris, faces the prospect of a tough rookie campaign in F2, competing against strong team an🅰d driver line-up combinations.

Russell heads into what looks to be the most important year of his career so far on the back of a convincing title-winning season in GP3, as he wrapped up the championship with a🐭 round to spare having taken four victories across what was a remarkably consistent campaign. He ended 2017 by contesting his first F1 practice session outings with Force India in Brazil and Abu Dhabi.
