Formula 1 action contin🌠ues this weekend in the second leg of the sport’s first-ever triple header of races, with the Austrian Grand Prix sandwiching the trio.

Lewis Hamilton’s dominant victory in France last weekend vaulted him into a 1ꦜ4-point lead at the top the world championship standings, after Sebastian Vettel was involved in a first-corner smash with Valtteri Bottas’ Mercedes that left both drivers on a recovery mission.

The introduction of Merc𓄧edes’ new 2.1 specification engine upgrade helped the team power its way to victory at Paul Ricard, and it will be fascinating to see whether it can extract the same kind of performance around the Red Bull Ring, which comprises four relatively short straights with a technical middle sector consisting of sweeping corners.

Ferrari and Red Bull will be aiming for strong results, with the latter on home soil, as both teไams lജook to take the momentum away from Mercedes - at a circuit it has enjoyed a clean sweep of victories at during the V6 hybrid era - in a season that continues to deliver close competition.
