With a grin on his face, Veဣrstappen was quick to point out that going side-by-side through Copse was actually possible, clearly referenc🦋ing what happened at Silverstone with Hamilton in 2021.
The commentator, Luke Craine, said in an interview with Ver🌳stappen post-race: “I counted about 700 times you and Chris [Lulham] went through Copse side-by🐼-side. Absolutely mesmerising!”
Verstappen then interjected: “So it does work! Goi🐷ng side-by-s♐ide through that corner…”
The Red Bull driver narrowly missed out on another victorꦕy in the second race of the night at Mugello.
Verstappen finished just 0.011s behind the eventual race winner, securing th༺ir🍸d, in what was a photo-finish.
