The FIA have lost two key members of their legal department as F1’s governing 📖body’s exodus continues, preཧsident Mohammed Ben Sulayem has confirmed.

The FIA have🐲 already lost sporting director Steve Nielson, who left his role within 12 months of starting.

Similarly, Tim🌳 Goss quit to join Visa Cash App RB as their new technical director fo꧙r 2024.

The latest two departures are governance and regulatory director Pierre Ketterer and head ꦇof commercial league affairs Edward Floydd.

The aforementioned duo have played a big part in the Concorde Agreement ovꩵer the years - the contract which binds the FIA and F1 teams.

Ketterer’s impact will be particularly missed given he🍸’s be🉐en part of the FIA since 2010.

He was also responsible for creating the FIA’s judicial and disciplin🌜ary rules, and led th✤e regulations surrounding F1’s COVID-hit 2020 campaign.

Speaking to Motorsport.com, Ben Sulayem confirmed their departures🌠.

“I will miss Pierre personally and professionally. I have known him for 14 years – long before I became FIA president. I have always found him to be meticulous in his commitment to serving th💫e Federation and our members.

“He was a prominent, well-respected figure෴ in our organisation. I would like to thank him for his invaluable contribution and unwavering professionalism. I am confident that with the team Pierre has put in place, the FIA’s governance and regulatory affairs are in good hands.

“He has decided to take his career in a new direction after years of loyal service, and I wish hi💎m well in his new role.”

The FIA have stated that this is part of🍷 a wider restructuring proce👍ss led by Ben Sulayem.

As a result, 10 new departments have been created within the Fren🐻ch organisation.
