"The whole qualifying I felt I was able to make a step lap by lap. I'm much more aware of how to♕ do a consistent warm up and e🔯xtract more out of the tyres but there's a lot to improve.

"Every weekend I get more confident with the car, can play with it more and explore the limits. At the same time, I can understand more from the set-up and give much bette☂r feedback which allows the team to improve the car.”

Antonelli’s emotional celebration with father

Antonelli was seen e⛦mbracing his father Marco as Mercedes wiꦬldly celebrated his milestone achievement.

"My dad has been coming since the start of the season,” Anto𓂃nelli said of his celebr😼ations with his father.

“He’s like a rock for me b♊ecause I can always rely on him and it's nice to share this moment with him.”

In a separate interview, Marco told Sky Sports F1: "At the moment it's difficult to say 🅰what I feel. After five ඣraces, it's unbelievable that he's on pole.

"Yeꦕs it's a Sprint race but 🧸we have had a good start!

"We are one family that tries to transmit that in life you have to wo𒁃rk hard, don't complain beꦯfore you understand if you did a good job or not, focus on the future.

"We are a normal fꦉamily. We work every day and I think we are nothing special othꦰer than a family trying to give their children the best for life.
