F1 video game earns BAFTA honours

The offiꦑcial F1 video game, F1 2010, has been awarded a top GAME British Academy Video Games꧒ award.
The game, the first developed by Cod⛎emasters, beat a range of top titles - includඣing Gran Turismo 5, FIFA 11 and International Cricket 2010 - to take top honours in the sports category.
"The award from BAFTA is a great honour and to be recognized in this way is a tribute to the creative development studios at Codemaster who, in the face of 🐓intense competition have come out on top as being best in class," Codemasters CEO Rod Cousens said. "When it comes to racing Codemasters is leading the world and in F1, it has been achieved by working in collaboration with all th꧙e teams and with FOM.
"All involved have worked together and supported us, sharing our vision and being aligned to make 🌄sure the consumers are the real winners. We thank everyone for believing in us and we've come through for you."
Former F1 racer Anthony Davidson ꦦp𓃲layed a role in the development of the game.
