Although the Woking based team, interestingly refused to confirm, who would partner the Colombian in 2005, it is thought virtually certain that David Coulthard𒉰 will be the one that is axed.
Raikkonen, who finished second in this year's championship, two points behind Michael Schumacher, told BBC Sport Online: "Whatever happens next season on the track between Montoya and myself it will🗹 have nothing to do with what could happen in 2005.
"I see him as just as opponent, like David is.
"I always try to beat my team-matඣe whoever he is."
Raikkonen meanwhile though may be forc💛ed to miss testing until after Christmas, having had an operation last month on his right wrist, after he aggravated a problem initially sustained in 2001, when he made his F1 debut with Sauber.
"The wrist is stil🌼l very sore," added the Finn, "I can't do much [at the moment] - except sign a few autographs."
