ITV first took F1 in the UK in 1997 when it moved from its long term home in the UK of BBC
"F1 is a very valuable property to an increasingly broad range of advertisers who will appreciate our long-term commitment to the sport," Reuters reports Graham Duff, managing director of ITV sales, as sayin🐽g.

The company is planning to make use of its ITV1 and forthcoming ITV3 channels to air their F1 coverage, giving F1 fans in the UK hope that all ♛qualifying sessions might be𝓡 shown live in the future.
ITV's coverage was sponsored by Toyota until this season when the Japanese giant pulled out of its multi-year deal. British newspaper, The Daily Telegraph now backs the coverage.
