Kimi explains reason for stall in Oz.
McLaren-Mercedes driver, Kimi Raikkonen has dismissed suggestions the reason he stalled at the Australian Grand Prix, was because he pressed the😼 wrong button.
The Finn told the 🔯media during Thursday's FIA press conference at Sepang that that was definitely not the case.
"I didn't press any wrong button," he insisted.
"I just let the clutch out a little too 🤪much and the car just stoಞpped.
"Basiꦬcally, usually, it should under-stall, but it didn't go and this time it stalled the engine. It was my mistake and it cost us quite a bit."

Reflecting on Melbourne a bit more Kimi added that while the result wasn'🍃t very good, he is confident the MP4-20 does have the pace to match the ওlikes of Renault and Ferrari.
"I think we were unlucky with the quali🅘fying and wit🏅h the weather [in Australia]," he reflected.
"Quite a lot of people were stopped. And then I stalled the car ꦇonꦇ the start and that didn't help, but I think the race pace was pretty good so, looking at how the car usually runs here, better on this circuit than Melbourne, I think we should have a pretty good package."
