McLaren-Mercedes driver, Kimi Raikkonen has dismissed suggestions the reason he stalled at𝓀 the Australian Grওand Prix, was because he pressed the wrong button.

The Finn told the media during Thursday's FIA press conference at Sepang that that was definite🔥ly not the case꧒.

"I didn't press any wrong button," he insisted.

"I just let the clutch out a little too m🌜uch and the car just stopped.

"Ba🍰sically, usually, it should under-stall, but it didn't go and this time it stalled the engine. It was my mistake and it cost us quite a 💖bit."

Reflecting on Melbourne a bit more Kimi added that while the result wasn'🍃t very good, he is confident the MP4-20 does have the pace to match the ওlikes of Renault and Ferrari.

"I think we were unlucky with the quali🅘fying and wit🏅h the weather [in Australia]," he reflected.

"Quite a lot of people were stopped. And then I stalled the car ꦇonꦇ the start and that didn't help, but I think the race pace was pretty good so, looking at how the car usually runs here, better on this circuit than Melbourne, I think we should have a pretty good package."
