Ferrari forced to change Vettel's engine after Malaysia issue
Ferrari has confirmed it has changed the engine on Sebastian Vettel's F🍸ormula 1 car following an issue during final practice for the Malaysian Grand Prix on Saturday, edging the German closer to a grid penalty.
Vettel finished FP3 second overall behind teammate Kimi🌃 Raꦛikkonen, but had to end his session early after an issue emerged while out on-track, forcing him to slow and nurse the car back to the pits.
Ferrari confirmed after the sess💃ion it would be completing a "precautional change" of Vettel's engine ahead of qualifying at the Sepang International Circuit.

No penalty will be given to Vettel as he has swit✨ched to his fourth power unit of the season, although it had been scheduled to be introduced at a later date, meaning it will require a longer life than planned in order to avoid any grid penalties.
