Kevin Magnussen rules out Daytona 24 entry for 2018
Kevin Magnus📖sen has ruled out appearing in the Rolex 24 sports car race at Daytona International Sℱpeedway in January following speculation of a possible entry with Action Express Racing.
Haas driveꦐr Magnussen was linked with a drive🧔 in the 24-hour classic that would see him join Formula 1 peers Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll on the grid, racing in the Prototype class.

Despite expressing a desire to enter sports car races such as Le Mans in the past and even testing Porsche's LMP1 car back in 2015, he woul𝐆d not be entering the 2018 Rolex 24.
"There have been talks with a team, but for a variety of reasons, there was no🎃t a deal," Magnussen said.
"It would be good another time."
Magnussen has previously said he would like to enter a sports car race in the futur𝓡e with his father, Jan, who is a factory Corvettꦛe driver in the GTLM class of the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship.
Magnussen Sr. will race at Le Mans n♒ext year with Corvette, but his son ruled out an entry to the race despite it not clashing with a grand prix in June.
