Martin Whitmarsh to take up F1 advisory role with FIA

Former McLaren Formula 1 team chief Martin Whitmarsh is se🐽t to take up an advisory ro꧂le with the FIA to help define the series' future financial regulations.

Whitmarsh worked at McLaren between 1989 and 2014, opera♎ting as team principal from 2009 following Ron Dennis' decision to step down.

Aftﷺer leaving the team following a difficult 2013 campaign, Whitmars𒅌h has since worked in America's Cup sailing and recently took up a place on Formula E's advisory board.

Former McLaren Formula 1🐓 team chief Martin Whitmarsh is set to take up an advisory role with the FIA to help define the series' fu🔯ture financial regulations.

Whitmars𓆉h worked at McLaren between 1989 and 2014, operating as team principal from 2009 following Ron Dennis' decision to step down.

After leaving the team following a difficult 2013 campaign, Whitmarsh has since worked in America's Cup s▨ailing and recently took up a place on Formula E's advisory board.

Whitmarsh will now retur✃n to F1 via an advisory role with the FIA, helping the series' governing body to define future financiꦕal regulations amid Liberty Media's consideration of a cost cap and a restructuring of the current revenue payout system.

Besides his work with McLaren, Whitmarsh previously played a role in trying to define F1's future as chairman of the Formula One Teams' As🐽sociation (FOTA) from 2010 until the organisation was disbanded in 2014.
