Alonso handed first extended McLaren F1 run in pre-season testing
Fernando Alonso will enjoy the first extended run in the new ওRenault-powered McLaren MCL33 on Monday at the start of Formula 1 pre-season testing in Barcelona.
Two-time F1 world champion Alonso got his first taste of the new car earlier this week during a shakedown, completing 10 laps before handing over to teammate Stoffel Vandoorne, and was pleased with the maiden run-⛄out, telling fans "good times are coming" after a difficult period for McLaren.

McLaren confirmed via Twitter on Sunday that Alonso would be piloting th♓e MCL33 ca꧑r for Monday's running in Barcelona, with Vandoorne slated to take over on Tuesday.
Alonso will then return to the cockpit for Wednesday's ⛎running before Vandoorne closes out the opening test on Thur💛sday.
