Chassis change forces Romain Grosjean to miss Silverstone FP2 

Romain Grosjean will si𒁏t out second practice for the Formula 1 British Grand Prix after da🎀mage following his FP1 crash forced Haas into a chassis change. 

Grosjean suffered a ওhigh-speed off at Turn 1 and hit the barriers at✱ Abbey, after failing to close the Drag Reduction System aid on the run to the first corner, causing his car to swap ends under braking. 

The impact significantly damaged the front-left of Grosjean's VF-18, prompting a chassis change. The Frenchman also required a chassis change after incidents in Baku a🔴nd Spain.

Romain Grosjean wil🌱l sit out second practice for the Formula 1 British Grand Prix after damage following his F🌠P1 crash forced Haas into a chassis change. 

Grosjean suffered a high-speed off at Turn 1 and hit the barriers at Abbey, after failing to close the Drag Reduction System aid on the run to the💫 first corner, causing his car t🐽o swap ends under braking. 

The impact significantly damaged the front-le🔯ft of Grosjean's VF-18, prompting a chassis change. The Frenchman also required a chassis change after incidents in Baku and Spain. 

Grosjean set the seventh-fastest time in opening practice at Silverstone on Friday as he continued his i🐻mpressive form following his fourth-place finish at last weekend’s Austrian Grand Prix. 

"We need to change the chassis so he will not be going out in FP2," Haas team principal Gunther Steiner confirmedꦬ. "Simple as this. We had some damage and he will not make FP2.

"We are now back to a normal day in the office, one car needing to change chassis and the other one seeing the stewards. We are j𝓡ust getting normal now again."
