Leclerc leads Sauber 1-2 in wet final German GP practice
Charles Leclerc headed up a one-two finish for Saub🐎er in final practice for the German Grand Prix on Saturday, setting the pace in a rain-hit sess𝐆ion that saw most drivers limit their running.
Light rain in the build-up to the start of the session grew in intensity as it got underway, leaving drivers to complete a handful of installation laps as they gauged conditions o༒n the Wet tyre.

Hulkenberg was the only driver to manage an outlap ꦓon Intermediates, only to pit immediately and switch onto Wets be🎶fore setting a time of 1m36.873s, which stood as the best time until the closing stages of the session.
Hulkenberg's Renault teammate, Carlos Sainz Jr., had a big spin in the damp conditions at Turn 10, acting as a warning sign to the rest of the field, but the rain grew lighter in the clos🅠ing stages, allowing a number of drivers to get out and set a lap time.
In the final moments of the session, Leclerc was able to improve his lap to 1m34.577s, handing him top spot i♛n the final standings, with Sauber teammate Marcus Ericsson taking sꦆecond place, four-tenths of a second behind.
Sergey Sirotkin finished third for Williams ahead of Sebastian Vettel of Ferrari, while the Toro Rosso duo of Pierre Gasly and Brendon﷽ Hartley followed in fifth and sixth. Hulkenberg's early lap was good enough for seventh at the chequered flag, while Kimi Raikkoneꦕn and Lance Stroll were eighth and ninth as the final drivers to set a time.
Lewis Hamilton only featured in the final minute of the session, completing an outlap and an inlap for Mercedes, amid 🍃speculation he is ill. Mercedes was quick to deny this, saying Hamilton was "not ill", with its limited running being by c🥃hoice.
