Lauda released from hospital after lung transplant
Three-time Fo🅰rmula 1 world champion Niki Lauda♔ has been released from hospital following a successful lung transplant.
Vienna General Hospital confirmed in a statement on Wednesday that Lauܫda was able to leave hospital in a “good general condition". It added he must spend several weeks in intensive rehabilitation.
The 69-year-old Austrian, who is the non-executive chairman of the Mercedes F1 t🍷eam, underwent surgery in August after being diagnosed with "severe lun💖g disease".
