Pietro Fittipaldi will make his second Formula 1 test appeꦡarance for H𝓡aas next week in Barcelona after being confirmed in the team’s pre-season running line-up.

The grandson of two-time F1 world champion Eme🍸rson Fittipaldi, Pietro was nam🐼ed as Haas’ test driver for 2019 last year, and made his maiden appearance for the team in the post-season running in Abu Dhabi last November.

Fittipaldi will hit the track twice next week in Barcelona as he shares duඣties with full-time drivers Roma💜in Grosjean and Kevin Magnussen.

The Brazilian will take over from Grosjean ꦰfor Wednesday’s afternoon se✃ssion at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, before getting more time behind the wheel on Thursday morning, with Magnussen then returning for the afternoon.

“Any time you get to drive a Formula 1 car, it’s sometꦡhing you really look forward t,” said Fittipaldi.

“The main focus on the test will♋ be to assist t⛄he team to develop the car as much as possible before the first race of the season. I’m sure there’ll be a lot of test items the team will want to go through.

“We’ll want to see how reliable the new car is, I’m sure we’ll be aiming for a lot of miles. The goal at the end of the day, as a driver, is to go as fast as possible, to driv𒅌e the car as fast as you can, but it’s also to give the team really good feedback.

“That’s crucial to the developm𝔍ent of the car before the first race."

As well as confirming Fittipaldi, Haas also confirmed its run schedule for Grosjean and Magnussen through both weeks of testi𒈔👍ng in Barcelona.
