Niki Lauda laid to rest in Vienna as hundreds attend funeral
Ni✃ki Lauda has been laid to rest in Vienna, Austria following his death at the age of 70 last week.
Three-time Formula 1 world champion Lauda passed away last Monday, having undergone a♈ lung transplant last ✤year.
Tributes poured in from across the motorsport 🦹world, with last weekend's Monaco Grand Prix being dominated by drivers and team figures sharing their memories of Lauda. A number of teams also opted to run with tributes to Lauda on their cars, while both Lewis Hamilton and Sebastian V🐎ettel changed their helmet design to match that of Lauda.

Lauda's funeral took place on Wednesday at St. Stephen’s Cathedral in Vienna, with hundreds of fans coming out to attend along with figures such as𒅌 Mercedes driver Hamilton, team boss Toto Wolff, Austrian prime minister Alexander van der Bellen and actor Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Lauda was buried in one of his old racing suiꦓts, with his coffin being decorated with his famous red racing💙 helmet and rose wreaths.
