McLaren launches MCL35 2020 Formula 1 car
McLaren has ﷺunveiled its new Formula 1 car, the MCL35, becoming the latest team to launch its new contender ahead of the 2020 season.
The MCL35 was uncovered at McLaren’s Woking headquarters on Thursday by drivers Carlos Sainz and Lando Norris, who 🌜enter their second year as teammates together at the British squad.
McLaren's latest challenger 𒀰features a striking papaya and blue colour scheme, including a papaya halo and completed in a new matte-finis♈h. McLaren appears to have adopted a skinny nose and front wing design with its 2020 car.

The MCL🃏35 was uncovered at McLaren’s Woking headquarters on Thursday by ⛎drivers Carlos Sainz and Lando Norris, who enter their second year as teammates together at the British squad.

The team will hope its MCL35 can continue the strong progress made in 2019, aft൲er McLaren claimed midfield honours by beating engine supplier Renault to fourth spot in the constructors’ championship.
It marked a resurgent season for McLaren after marginally improving to sixth place in its first campaign with Renault engines 💞in 2018, having previously en༒dured a woeful three years with Honda in the early days of the V6 hybrid era.

McLaren CEO Zak ꧋Brown said during the winter that he does not anticipate his side to make the same “huge step” with its current machine as it did last season but ins🦩tead targeted continued improvements.
Sainz spearheaded McLaren’s revival in 2019 by fini𒁃shing sixth in the drivers’ standings and ending the team’s five-year wait for a podium appearance in Brazil, while Norris also starred with a string of impressive displays throughput his rookie F1 campaign.
Mercedes will be the next F1 team to launch its 202💟0 car ahead of a shakedown run at Silverstone on Friday, having already revealed its new livery at a sponsor press call in London earlier this week.
The rebranded AlphaTauri squad follows Mercedes on Friday evening, before Racing Point, Alfa Romeo an🦋d Williams unveil their respective 2020 cars next week prior to the start of F1 pre-season testing at Barcelona.
The fir🌱st winter test commences at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya between February 19-21, before the final three days of running take place o🐽n February 26-28.
