Vietnam was scheduled to host its first-ever F1 race in Hanoi today as the third round of the 2020 campaign, but the 🥃race was postponed due 🐎to the COVID-19 outbreak.
The Virtual Grand Prix take💦s place tonight at 20:00 BST local time and is being live-streamed. The event will feature a 28-lap race on Codemasters F1 2019 video game around Melbourne’s Albert Park street circuit, due to the latest iteration of the official F1 game not featuring the Hanoi track.
Six current F1 drivers will take part in the race with Charles Leclerc, Alexander Albon, George Russell and Antonio Giovinazzi all making their first appearances, while England♈ cricket star Ben Stokes is among the invited guests.
