After a dramatic double-hea♉der at the Red Bull Ring for the Austrian Grand Prix and Styrian Grand Prix, Formula 1 heads to the tight and twisty Hungaroring which plays host to this weekend's Hungarian Grand Prix.
Mercedes stormed to two dominant victories in the opening rounds of 2020, a win each for ꦛValtteri Bottas and Lewis Hamilton.
Mercedes looks to be the team to beat once agai𓂃n with Hamilton leading the only dry Friday practice session ahead of team-mate Bottas.
Worryingly for Mercedes'✱ rivals, Hamilton set his best time of FP1🍃 on the white-marked hard tyres highlighting its mighty pace at the Hungaroring.
FP2 was wet, with Ferrari's Sebastian Ve꧅ttel heading the time-sheets.
What happened last time out?
Round two of the 2020 season was dominated by Hamilton after the Brit stormed to one of the best pole positions of his illustrious F1 career - ending qualifying for the Sty♎rian GP 1.2s clear of the rest of the field.
Hamilton converted it into aꦑn 89th career victory, with team-ma𓆏te Bottas joining him on the podium to make it Mercedes' first 1-2 finish of the season.
V🐻erstappen finished third, having been overtaken by Bottas in the closing laps with Red Bull team-mate Albon coming home in fourth.
The race had a plethora of midfield action with Lando Norris overtaking Sergio Perez, Lance Stroll and Daniel Ricciardo in the closing stages to finish a🅷n impressive fifth - maintaining third in the drivers' championship.
Perez, Stroll, Ricciardo, Carlos Sainz and Daniil Kvyat&nbಞsp;rounded out of t💛he top ten.
What to expect from this weekend?
Expect Merce♛des to be the team to beat once again but the lack oꦏf straights should put Red Bull closer to the front.
Ferrari will be eying a more cඣompetitive weekend after both cars failed to make the chequered flag at the Styrian Grand Prix.
Pirelli has nominated ꧂the C2, C3 and C4 tyres for this weekend - the same as in the first two rounds.
Wet weath✱er isಞ threatening to disrupt this weekend with there being a chance of showers on each of the three days.
