After a dramatic British Grand Prix, Formula 1 is back at Silverstone for the 70th Anniver🧜sary Grand Prix.

It wil🧸l be held as a 70-year commemoration race of the Formula One World Championship at the same circuit which hosted the first race back in 1950.

This is the second back-to-back race of 2020 with the Red Bull Ring ඣplaying host to the Austrian and Styrian Grands Prix at the start of the season.

It’s expected to be b🐬usiness as normal with Mercedes leading at the front, but with softer tyres and warm⛦er temperatures, the likes of Red Bull might be able to close the gap at the front.

Nico Hulkenberg wꦦill once again be in the Racing Poi𝕴nt in place of Sergio Perez, who continues to recover from COVID-19.

Last time out

It was a dramatic end꧒ 🙈to last weekend’s British Grand Prix with eventual race winner Lewis Hamilton picking up a puncture on the final lap.

The Briton had to nurse his stricken Mercedes home with just three🐼 tyres as he stormed to his sev❀enth career victory at the British Grand Prix.

Valtteri Bottas and Carl🌜os Sainz were the other two drivers to suffer punctures in the latter stages, with the pair failing to finish inside the top ten. 

Max Verstappen narrowly missed out on his first win of the season, claiming yet another podium ahead of the ever-impress🐠ive Charles Leclerc.

Daniel Ricciardo recorded his be꧒st result for Renault in fourth, ahead of Lando Norris, Esteban Ocon, Pierre Gasly, Alexande🤪r Albon, Lance Stroll and Sebastian Vettel.

What to expect from this weekend?

Hamilton and Mercedes will be the team to beat bu💦t temperatures across the whole weekend are expected to be above 30 degrees Celsius. 

Tyres will once again be a major talking point after the late tyre failures in the British Grand Prix🥃.

Pirelli has gone a step softer this weekend with it bringing✨ the C2, C3 and C4 tyres, rather than the C1, C2 🐓and C3 as it did last time out.
