Sergio Perez says progress is being ma𓆏de in finding a new team for the 2021 Formula 1🌼 season with the Mexican currently without a drive.

Last month, Racing Point confirmed four-time F1 champion Sebastian Vettel w🌳ould be rep🅠lacing Perez for next season where the team will be rebranded as Aston Martin.

Perez has limited options available with Haas looking the most likely option on the table, while Alfa Romeo is an outside shot as Kimi Raikkonen is expected to retain his seat despite dismissing reports claiming t🐼hat he has already signed 𒁃a deal.

When asked about his future ahead of this weekend’s Eifel Grand Prix in Germany, Perez said: “At the moment there’s nothing to report, nothing has been signed. There has been some progress.༺ I think it’s going to take a bit more time and I think in Formula 1 until you don’t have anything signed everything is in the air so nothing really to say.”

“I am sure they know. As I say, rigඣht now it’s just a matter of keeping all the doors open and be patient as well, Perez added. “I am in no hurry so let’s see w🎀hat comes up in the next couple of weeks.

“As I say, I don’t have really a lot to say in that regard. Right now, I am fully focused on my season with my team. I think we made some good progress, we are𒊎 getting my season back on track. I just want t𒈔o deliver weekend after weekend.

“We’re close to the third in the constructors’ championship so that’s the focus right ✅now. The future is a matter of time and to be honest we don’t have a lot more to say.”
