After another short brea🌱k, Formula 1 ✅is back in business as it returns to the Nurburgring for the Eifel Grand Prix. 

Having not been on the calendar since 2013, F1 returns to a legendary venue in the Nurburgring - home to the intimidating Nordschle⭕ife.

Giv🃏en the time of y💛ear, the weather surely will play its part with cold and wet conditions expected throughout the duration of the weekend.

The Eifel Grand Prix marks a run of races where F1 hasn't been at in some time, such as Imola and Turkey, or where F1 hasn't raced at such at like Portimao before heading to the Middle East to close this un🌜ique season.

The Russian Grand Prix proved to be a decisive one in the race for 2020 F1 drivers' crown as Valtteri Bottas returned ♌to winning ways at the Sochi Autodrom to claim his second race victory of the ꦡseason.

The Finn endured a difficult qualifying session but bounced bꦐack in the race as overtook Max Verstappen at the start 🐈and then challenged teammate Lewis Hamilton into Turn 1.

Fortune seemed to favour Bottas on this occasion when Hamilton was handed two separate time penalties for practice start infringements allowing Bottas and Max Verstappen to jump him through th🌄e stops.

Bottas went onto claim his sec📖ond win in Russia ahead of Verstappen and Ha🤪milton.

The gap in the championship now sits a🧸t 44 points with seven rounds rema▨ining.

In terms of the midfield fight, Sergio Perez headed the pack in fourth place in Russia - beating Daniel Ricciardo💛, who was the lead Renault in fifth.

McLaren sits third in the cons💯tructors' championship, just two points ahead of Racing Point, while Renault is a further five points back in fifth.

What to expect from this weekend?

Pirelli ܫhas nominated the C2, C3 and C4 compounds for this weekend - the same as at Monza and Spa-Francorchamps. 

With rain expected, keep an eye on the 'wet weather specialists' - H𒁏amilton, Verstappen, Esteban Ocon and Lance Stroll often fare best in the wet.
