Romain Grosjean says&nbs🅷p;he has been having sleepless nights after finding ou🥀t he had lost his Haas drive for the 2021 Formula 1 season.

Grosjean and teammate Kevin Magnussen lost their seats after Haas decided to replace both drivers for n💟ext year, meaning both drivers are likely to spend a year out of F1 with a l🍌ack of available spaces on the grid for next year.

Speaking at the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix, Grosjean acknowledged it was not a good time to find himself out of a job given the current global situation amid the coronavirus pandemic.&ไnbsp;

"If ওI am brutally honest I haven't been sleeping well for the last two ꦬweeks,” Grosjean said.

"It 𝓀is a tough year for the world, for the economy. It is not a good year to be out of contract and out of the sport in any🐓 way.”

The Frenchman is understood to have taken🎃 part in a recent test with Formula E outfit Mahindra, while he has also expressed an interest in a potential switch to IndyCar.

"I have been looking at I🌺ndyCar,” Grosjean said. “I have had some contact and some good ones.

"I kind of regret that🍬 I didn't check the calendar earlier. There are only two ovals, one short track. But it is something I would🌱 consider.

"I spoke with Marcus Ericsson when he went there and he really liked the different styles. The drivers have a big role to play and🐷 the car was fun and everyone has got a chance to win the race.

"Probably now I want to win races and have a chance, and ⛄win races where I can have fun, so IndyCar is on the list.”

Grosje♛an has revealed George Russell sent him a message of sympathy when his departure from Haas was confirmed last month.

Grosjean recently sent a public message🔯 of support to Russell after he crashed out of the points under the Safety Car period during the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix, something Grosjean did himself in Baku in 2018.

“I’ve had🅰 a good relationship with George,” said Grosjean.

“When the announcement was made that I wasn’t going to be with the team next season, he was the first and only one to send me a WhatsApp message. That really shows that he’s a gr💙eat guy.”
