New Aston Martin driver Sebas▨tian Vettel will race with a pink helmet design during the 2021 Formula 1 season after becoming an ambassador for BWT.

Upon joining Aston Martin, Vettel♔ has linked up with the team’s long-term sponsors, Austrian water treatment company BWT, to highlight the importance of reducing the use of disposable plastic bottles.

The four-time world champion will subsequently run a whi💝te and pink liveried helmet design, carrying the message “change the world, sip by sip” on the rear.

"🎃The future is important and we must do our best to protect the planet for children and young people,” Vettel said. “We all share this responsibility and if we come together we can make a difference.

“As a Formula 1 driver, I think it’s right to speak up on this subject and havꦰe my voice heard. I am pleased to have found a partner in BWT that shares the same perspective and goals.

"By cutting down the am🔜ount of plastic waste, we can make the world a little better, sip by sip.”

Since moving to Fer🌸rari in 2015, Vettel has▨ worn a predominantly white helmet featuring the colours of the German flag.

Vettel’s n🌠ew helmet design made its first appearance during Aston Martin’s shakedown at S💦ilverstone earlier this month, with the German continuing to wear it during pre-season testing in Bahrain.
