Williams F1 Team has announced it 𝐆will attempt to complete 100 F1 pit stops across the Portuguese Grand Prix weekend in honour of Captain Tom Moore’s 1🍨00 challenge.

In April 2020, Moore famou🍒sly completed 100 laps of his garden in a bid to raise £1000 for NHS Charities Together.

Mꦛooreꦑ’s efforts captured the nation’s attention and he raised £38.9 million in total.

H💎e was knighted for his efforts but sadly passed away agedꦍ 100 in February.

In his honour, Williams will attempt 100 pit stops across𒅌 the weekend at Portimao to mark what would have been his 101st birthday on April 30.

The Grove-based outfit will be taking part in this challe🍬nge so it can raise awareness for its official charity - Spinal Injuri🐻es Association (SIA).

SIA is a charity that supports people living with spinal cord inj✨ury in the United Kingdom.

Speaking of the announcement, CEO Jost Capito said: “Captain Sir Tom Moore inspired millions around the world, with his simple message of hope, “Tomorrow will be a good day” and brought comfort and joy to so many around 🐽the world during the pandemic. 

“It has been a challenging time for everyone and still is, and ༺we want to take this opportunity to do something in his memory, whilst also raising money for a very worthy ca♏use. 

“As a tಌeam, we t🥃ake great pride in our pitstops, so this is a great challenge for the team both trackside and at the factory to come together to accomplish, and we’re looking forward to it.”
