Ocon confident Alpine has solved issue with F1 chassis change

After a strong start to the year, Ocon’s form slumped as he struggled to score points and make it out of Q1 s🍬ince the Monaco Grand Prix.
Alpine swapped his chassis and changed several other parts on his car for the British Grand Prixജ, and Ocon feels the issue has been resolved.
“I’m pretty sure we’ve solved the issue that we had,” Ocon said after the race on Sunday. “It’s not only a chassis change that we’ve done, there was a lot of other things, background and other parts that we changed. We spotted somethi✤ng after that day on the Monday.
“We questioned ourselves if that could be the rea💮son. The only thing I care about is that obviously I feel good now and as soon as we we did put the car in practice one, it was competitive like it should and that was much better.”
Prior to Alpine changing his chassis, Ocon hadn’t finished inside the top ten since the Monaco in May, while teammate Alonso 🍸has scored in the last five consecutive races.
Ocon said it was important to bounce back with a points finish after a difficult ru🎃n of form.
“Very important,” Ocon added. “This is the main positive that we are going to keep from the w🦩eekend.
“In general, to be able to extract the maximum from the car since all the changes that we’ve made over the last week it’s been great and I can’t wait to be fighting𝔍 for more points in Budapest.”
Alpine sits seventh in the constructors’ championship, nine points behind fif🍰t🌟h-placed AlphaTauri.
