Theo Pourchaire set for maiden F1 test with Alfa Romeo in Hungary

Alfa Romeo has organised a private test for Pourch💧aire w🥃hich will take place alongside Pirelli’s 18-inch tyre test programme for the 2022 season.
The 17🙈-year-old will get his first F1 run out in a 2019-spec Alf💖a Romeo C38 at the Hungarian Grand Prix venue.
“We have some tests to do with young drivers and we will see next we🍸ek what happens. It’s more related to the academy," Alfa Romeo team princ🅰ipal Frederic Vasseur said at the Hungarian Grand Prix.
Asked who will be driving for♐ the team, Vasseur replied: "We will see next week."
Pourchaire currently sits sixth in the F2 standings durin🌺g his rookie campaign and claimed his first victory in the Moꦬnaco feature race.
💎The Frenchman graduated to F2 after finishing runner-up to Oscꦦar Piastri in last year’s Formula 3 championship.
Prior to that, Pourchaire won the French F4 championship in 2018 and ADAC Formula 4 championshiꦐp in 2019, the same year his affiliation with Sauber began.
Alfa Romeo is yet to confirm its line-up for the 2022 F1 season, with both Kimi Raikkonen and Antonio Giovinazzi’s deal🥂s set to expire at the end of the current season.
McLaren and Ferrari will also be in action at Budap🧸est on Wednesday for Pirelli, while Williams racer George Russell is testing the 18-inch tyres for Mercedes on Tuesday.
