Miami GP F1 track will be 'far from a car park race’

F1 will race in Miami for the first time in the sport’s history next 🐭year after officials signed a 10-year deal to host a grand prix in April.
Originally, F1 hoped to host a first-ever race in Miami in 2019 bu♔t was forced to scrap those plans.
The inaugural race in Miami is set to take place on 🙈May 8, with the grand prix taking place at a new purpose-built track around the Hard Rock Stadium, home of the Miami Dolphins NFL team.
Masi recently visited𒈔 the home of the new track and he is confident it will be a “proper circuit”.
“It is a proper circuit,” Masi said. “It is far from a race in a car park, considering the leܫvel of work that is ongoing there in a number of areas.
“The facility is coming along really, really well and it will be something unique.൲”
Masi was impress🍨ed by how circuit construction is progressing alongside the normal progra🙈mme of events at the stadium.
“They’re having to integrate an NFL season between all the work that they’re doing 🐈and sort of compartmentalise the areas of work they’re doing at the stadium.
“I think it’s a credit to them they were doing majoꩲr work there last week then obviously had to put everything back to a level for the Dolphins game to happen on the✨ weekend and start again sort of the following day. So Miami’s coming along really well.”
