Shwartzman handed Haas F1 test outing in Abu Dhabi

Like current Haas driver Mick Schumacher, Shwartzman is a member of Ferrari’s driver aꦡcademy and is currently competing iജn F2.
Shwartzman was teammates with Schumacher in his title-winning season in 2020, with the pair w𒊎inning the teams’ title for Prema.
With two rounds to go, Shwartzman sits third in F2 drivers’ standings, 43 points off Oscar Piastri - who was rec🐼ently announced as Alpine’s reserv♊e driver for 2022.
“First of all I would like to thank Haas F1 Team, Scuderia Ferrari and the Ferrari Driver Academy for this great opportunity,” Shwartzman 🐟said.
“This will be my first test with Haas F1 Team and I’m really looking forward to getting to know a new team, environment and also to learn as much as possible from them. Having the chance to drive for another F1 team is just incredℱible and I can’t wait to work wi💝th everyone.”
Haas F1 team boss Guenther Steiner added: “We’re looking forward to testing with Robert at Yas Marina in December. He’s obviously highly rated by Ferrari – having been part of thei𒅌r driver program since the end of 2017.
🍰“His ability is clearly in evidence when you look at his performances over the last few seasons – most notably his rookie campaign in Formula 2 last year – competing against the likes of ౠour own two drivers Mick Schumacher and Nikita Mazepin.
“We are pleased to be able to give Robert an outing in a Formula 1 car and we look ♕forward to working with him in Abu Dhabi.”
Shwartzman has previously tested for Fe𝔉rrari, testing its 2018 car at the team’s private track Fiorano on multiple occasions.
He also t♕ook part in the Abu Dhabi test f💮or Ferrari at the end of 2020.
