Hamilton summoned to F1 stewards over double yellows and impeding incidents

The Mercedes driver, along with a team representa🥂tive, will report to the stewards at 7pm local time in Jeddah (4pm GMT) to discuss an incident which occurred in FP3.
An F1 stewards’ document 🀅stated Hamilton had been summoned over an “alleged breach of Appendix H, Art. 2.5.5.b) of the FIA International Sporting Code, not respecting double waved yellow flags/🐈lights at 17:22.”
Hamilton could face a possible grid drop if he is found to have ignored double waved yellows, with title rival Max Verstappen picking up a five-place penalty at the last race in Qatar for the same infringeme🌳nt during qualifying.
Any punishment would deal Hamilton a huge blow in his hopes of winning this year’s world title, with the seven-time world champion effectively needing to win both of the final races of🥀 the season in Saudi Arabia and Abu Dhabi.
The incident does not relate to Hamilton’s near-misses wi🥃th either AlphaTauri’s Pierre Gasly or Nikita Mazepin that occurred during FP3.🎉
Hamiltonꦛ has also been summoned for impeding Nikita Mazepin in FP3. The Haas rookie Mazepin had to♉ take evasive action in order to avoid a terrifying shunt with Hamilton through the blind, flat-out first sector of the Jeddah track.
