Ferrari set to launch 2022 F1 challenger in mid-February

The famous Italian team hasn’t won the drivers’ championship since 2007 with Kimi Raikkonen buꦏt remains hopeful that F1’s regulations overhaul for next year will give it the opportunity to return♏ to the front of the field.
Despite the regulations remain🃏ing relatively stagnant between 2020 and 2𒀰021, Ferrari enjoyed a strong upturn in form as it comfortably beat McLaren to third in the constructors’ championship.
New signing Carlos Sainz enjoyed a strong year, securing fifth in the drivers’ championship ahead of Lando Norris and Charles Leclerc in th𝔉e Abu Dhabi finale.
Ferrari is the firs𝓀t te🍸am to give a rough estimate of when it plans to launch its all-new car for 2022.
“The car will be preseꦍnted mid-February, we have not decided yet the date, 16th to 18th will be the dat⛎es, but something we will finalise in the next weeks,” team boss Mattia Binotto said.
Recently, Ferrari announced that Santander wil🌟l return as a sponsor to the team on a multi-year deal.
The Spanish bank previously sponsored the team from 201🐼0 to 2017, often🌠 featuring on the rear wing of Ferrari’s F1 cars.
Binott💧🧜o confirmed Ferrari is dropping Mission Winnow branding for 2022 but remains hopeful it will remain “as a strong partner”.
“They have been our title sponsor and if you look at the way that we - which is public - subscribe our team to the next championship, it's not called anymore Scuderia Ferrari Misson Winnow, but only Scuderia Ferrari so I think that's quite straightforward as an answer,” Binotto e🐈xplained.
“But still, there are many opportunities on which we may collaborate with them, keeping them as partners. We have various options on the table at the moment a🅰nd we are still talking [with] them.
“And hopefully that will remain as a strong partner, but it will take some m♍ore days and some more weeks. So the moment there is not really much that I can announce.”
