Aston Martin set to unveil real 2022 F1 car at launch

The Silverstone-based outfit will be the third team to take the wraps⛎ off its new 𝄹challenger for the upcoming 2022 season later this afternoon, and the team has confirmed the car it showcases will be the real AMR22.
Red Bull unveiled its RB18 car on Wednesday but it became apparent the Milton Keyn♚es team had simply used a show car at its online launch to present its livery and new title spons꧋or Oracle.
Last week, Haas released digital renders of its VF-22, though the A𝓀m🦂erican squad admitted the images were not representative of the car that will hit the track in pre-season testing in Barcelona on February 23-25.
Aston Martin will theref🤡ore have the honour of revealing the first real 2022 car when it launches the AMR22 at its Gaydon headquarters at 2pm GMT.
It is likely there will still be an element of secr▨ecy around the design of the AMR22 given that teams are keen to avoid giving away key details how they have interpreted F1’s rules revolution to their rivals.
Aston Martin drivers Sebastian Vettel and Lance Stroll are set to c🎃onduct a first shakedown test of the AMR22 at Silverstone on Friday.
The rebranded team is looking to bounce back from a disappointing 2021 season in which it slipped to seventh in the constructors’ championship. Four-time world cha♒mpion Vettel scored the team's only podium las🔯t year with a second-place finish in Baku.
Aston Martin is about to head into the second year of a five-year plan to win 💎F1 world championships and has made a ඣnumber of headline appointments ahead of the new campaign.
