After a difficult s𓄧tart to life at AlphaTauri, de Vries became the latest victim of Red Bull's ruthless regime, having been replaced by Daniel Ricciardo just 10 races in to his rookie season.

De Vries became a hot commodity when, at short-notice at the 2022 Italian Grand Prix, he raced for Willꦿiams due to Alex Albon's unavailability. De Vries out-qualified and out-raced rജegular Williams driver Nicholas Latifi and earned rave reviews throughout the paddock.

He is an F2 and Formula E champion.

De Vries was also a test driver for Mercedes.
