Zhou Guanyu F1 career (2022 - Present)

After a 🐠difficult to start to his F1 career, Zhou quic🎉kly found his feat, scoring his first points at the Canadian Grand Prix.

While he was unable to assist Alfa Romeo's push for P6 in ꧋the championship too much - as his form c𝐆oincided with their downturn - he proved to be a solid, reliable driver, out-qualifying and out-racing his more experienced teammate on several occasions.

2023 proved t꧋o be a more diffic🌄ult year for Zhou and Alfa Romeo, whose competitiveness took a backward step. 

He scored four points fewer than Bottas but proved a close enough match for his team👍mate over the♉ course of the year to warrant being handed a contract extension for 2024.

Zhou will finally get the chance t𒊎o race at his home grand prix in China this year after COVID led to the Shanghai event being cancelled four years🧸 on the trot.
