Mick Schumacher will step up to the FIA Formula 2 championship in 2019 with Prema Racing after being confirmed by the team on 🧸Tuesday ahead of post-season testing.

Schumacher will continue his long-running partnership with Prema in 2019 when he joins its F2 op🐈e🌠ration, and is the team’s first confirmed driver for next season.

“I'm really looking forward to contesting my next season with Prema in FIA Formul✤a 2 - a logical step on my sporting pa𝔍th in my view, because I want to further improve my technical experience and driving skills,” Schumacher said.

“For me, it was very clear to go into Formula 2 with Prema. I can't thank the Prema family enough for what we achieved together as a team, e🎃specially this year, how we continued to develop together.

“I’m also really excited to drive the Formula 2 tests in Abu Dꦜhabi.”

Schumacher will featuඣre in the post-season F2 test at the Yas Marina Circuit later this week, wit♔h running scheduled for Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
