Luca Ghiotto꧃ will make the switch to the UNI-Virtuosi Racing Formula 2 squad to complete the team’s line-up for the 2019 season.

The Italian, who claimed four podiums on his way to finishing eighth in the 2018 F2 championship with Campos, will link up with FIA European Formula 3 Championship graduate Guanyu Zhou ꦍat the team, which has been taken over from Russian Time.

Both drivers conducted post🃏-season testing with Russian Time in Abu Dhabi this year, with Ghiotto returning to the rebranded outfit he took a career-best fourth in the F2 standings with in 2017.

“I am obvious💫ly very exꦗcited to be joining UNI-Virtuosi Racing,” Ghiotto said.

“I am re-joining this group of🦩 hard-working people just 12 months after our last race toge♊ther in 2017.

“Eacꦑh one in the team have the highest culture of motorsport and a winning pedigree, which you can feel in every single act and their approach to motor racing. Obviously, our common target is to do much better than in 2017, when we ended fourth in the drivers’ Championship.

UNI-Virtuosi team owner Andy Roche added: “Luca tested i🦄n Abu Dhabi with us last week and immediately felt comfortable as did the team.
